Instead of spreading the butter equally amongst each square, Mrs. Buttersworth is staring at you and your knife so intently that you cannot properly complete the task.

Solution: Leave her on the bottom shelf of your refrigerator. This way, she cannot tempt you into grasping her voluptuous curves, which synonymously increases the chance of success in maintaining the correct steps to nurturing this waffle. Toast, Butter, Syrup, Eat.
